handling, and commercial sale of flare gas in accordance with national energy policy.
European Machinery Safety Standards
— applied to equipment design, auxiliary
systems, instrumentation, and safety devices, in compliance with regulatory and legal
safety frameworks approved by relevant authorities.
BS EN 50014:1998
— adopted for the specification and use of electrical apparatus in
explosive atmospheres, ensuring safe operations in hazardous zones.
IEC 60364 (Low Voltage Electrical Installations)
— for ensuring the protection of
personnel and property in all low-voltage electrical installations.
ISO 11120
— standard for the design, manufacture, and testing of gas cylinders used in
the transportation of high-pressure gases, including compressed natural gas.
ISO 9809-1
— specification for seamless steel gas cylinders used for the storage of
compressed natural gas (CNG).
ECE R110 (adopted by OGRA)
— European-approved standard governing the design,
construction, and refueling safety of on-board CNG cylinders and components.
Contracts and MOUs with Gas Producers, Transporters, and Consumers
The company has established formal agreements and strategic partnerships for the procurement,
transportation, and sale of Natural Gas/Flare Gas. Key contracts and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) currently in effect include:
Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) with Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) for the procurement of Natural Gas/Flare Gas from the Rajian Gas Field, District Chakwal.
Gas Supply Contract with M/s Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited, for delivery to its facilities in Rawalpindi and Gujar Khan.
Gas Supply Contract with Murree Brewery Company Limited, Rawalpindi.
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Shaheen Energy (Pvt.) Limited, Karachi, for the transportation of gas from the company's Rajian Processing Facility to designated consumer sites. This covers the full daily volume of gas procured from OGDCL's Rajian Oil & Gas Field.
