3. Provide employees and contractors with appropriate training, safety awareness, emergency response preparedness and personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Ensure that equipment, tools and safety systems are properly maintained, inspected and fit for purpose.
5. Promote open reporting of hazards, near misses and incidents to encourage proactive risk management and continuous improvement.
6. Maintain effective emergency preparedness and response procedures for foreseeable operational emergencies.
